C5 System, Thoughts??

Alpine or Eclipse Head Unit
Infinity Kappa 6.5" components for the front doors, main feed to the crossover from the factory wiring for the 3.5" factory speakers.
Infinity Kappa 6.5" 3-way speakers for the rear set.
Subthump 10" low mount box (hidden under factory cover, undecided here) with Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 and a TBD amp/wattage.
Now a question: Would it make sense to also pick up a set of Infinity 3.5" speakers and run those in the stock location in addition to the 6.5" components in the doors, or would the component system alone be adequate?? I was thinking all three speakers for a more full spectrum. The Tweeters I'm not sure where I'm going to locate, probably in the 3.5" location if they're deleted, or behind the door handle if the 3.5's are retained.
Thoughts??? Looking for ideas too. And FYI, I swear by Infinity speakers, so don't even bother trying to sway me.
I have always liked the Infinity sound myself. With regards to your system set up, you need to decide how you are going to power everything and with how many amps. This will ultimately influence how many speakers you buy. I am unaware of a 3 way set up from Infinity, so your main options are to replace your 3.5" twiddler, eliminate it altogether, or find yourself another brand of 3 - 4" driver to make it a 3 way system. (to go with your 6.5" component set)
If you really like your rear fill a nice 2 way coaxial with some crossover tuning will suit you well there, no real need to go 3 way as your 10" sub will handle your sub bass just fine.
I recommend investing some time and $$ in sound deadening your doors to improve your midbass response and clarity. I believe knewblew has 2 sets of Infinity 6.5" components in his vette might want to chat with him.

Personally I would eliminate the rear speakers altogether. With a proper component set up for a realistic soundstage, rear speakers aren't needed or even desired in most situations.
To do it right you will need to run everything through a proper equalizer. When you get it right the sound will be amazing.
