Scott-

I was an English major... But now I own a small advertising/design agency in the Washington, DC area. I spend a good part of my week doing video, too, pushing pixels around in FCP.

Bought out the family business in '99. We're an imported/specialty foods brokerage.
We do marketing, sales and promotion of these foods to the specialty distributors who sell to grocery chains and gourmet food shops from Maine to South Carolina.
Our best line is Briannas Salad Dressings from TX
They are a fantastic client of ours since 1992 and are currently the 2nd best selling specialty dressing in the U.S.

2nd company handles real estate investment.

I've been trying to watch your demo film for a while now. Everytime I try to stream it, it locks up.
I wonder from time to time if you've ever worked on any of the movies I've watched.

Cool deal
I grew up in Michigan, New Jersey and now here since '99.
I live 1 block from Moravian College, near Elizabeth/Main streets.

Was it you that posted the info about the Avic hack for a start up image earlier?
I started to do through the process and realized I don't have a dvd burner....duh
I'm in MD often for business. A good distributor there in Upper Marlboro.
Maybe I can get a disc from you one of these days.

Small world... I lived on Langhorne Ave, which is just up a few blocks off Main St. Extension.

Anyway, what avic software are you running? I'd be happy to help you out. I orginally was running 1.0, and then today I upgraded to 1.2 and it wiped out my custom screen, so I have to re-do it. Grr...

This is a neat thread...getting to see what people do.

I am an engineer for Caterpillar. I get to design planetary gear sets for our Large Off-Highway Trucks. The "smallest" I work with is the 130 ton payload and goes all the way to the 400 ton payload. Nothing like 8 turbos feeding 24 cylinders making 3500+ horsepower and I get to play around with it.

Yeah it's more like onto than into. Although I have wondered if I could shoe horn it into the place my Duramax Diesel resides in my truck.

I work for a elementary/jr high school school district with 13 buildings, 11 being schools. I am tech support to give you the jist of it. I do so much more there, its not even funny anymore. Ive learned everything on the job in the past 4 years from setting up servers to maintaining them. Running network and cable to testing network and cable. Terminating both. Being apple certified in desktops for the 3rd straight year and working on making time for becoming portable(laptop) certified. Too much to list(sounds like a used car ad )This is a great thread starter scott. Very cool and interesting to see what everyone else does. keep em coming

Cool thread, about time you starting something worthwhile

I am a golf professional. Not the kind you see making the real $$$, the kind that babysits adults for a living, and unfortunately that description is somewhat literal

From running the course to club repair, to lessons for the young to the too old to learn, I do it all
