Default Later C4 tweeter locations

Has anyone found good locations to mount (or try out) tweeters for decent sound/ imaging?

Assuming the Woofer in a component set is in the frame rail (OEM Location)

Any other spots for the Woofer/Mid in a component set?

when I had my active 3 way, I had my 8" midbass and 2" soft dome midrange in the kickpanel and I mounted the tweeters in the A-pillar...had a pretty level center stage right around my my dash...i found if you mount a tweeter low in a C4 you risk blocking it with your leg loosing quite a bit of output and moving the center stage to the passenger side...

Was that set-up in a C4? I would love to see pictures of the 8 mounted in the front

In my 88 I have them in the plastic trim next to the interior door latch handle. Right up where it comes to a point in front of the handle

Trim is different on the 91 panels or I would have probably tried that.

You should talk to Andy Bogus. He has a 3 way system mounted in his doors
