John...as an FYI, we are having some fun here. There is a small group of people who normally watch and post in the C5 audio section here. So don't think we are trying to hijack your post.
Keep the questions flowing as you have them and you will get responses. We don't guarantee that we won't get off topic from time to time though.
Just ordered the 13 V D2 and the Nine.2 amp, I should have it by next Thursday. In the meantime i want to get anything else i need to install it.
I'll build the box this weekend,
The wire I have is 12 guage. So I need the power wire from the battery,RCA plugs and that Pac thing a mig to finish it is that right?
you'll need a fuse at the battery and remote turn on wire. you can get an amp install kit from knukonceptz that should have everything you'll need minus the pac bose interface (just double check to see if they have rca's included in the install kit)
My car will be off the road for about another week or so anyway, Flycutting the pistons.I'm puttind Dart 255's milled .020 with Cometic .040's ported, and a FAST 90/90 on her, I guess this Sub will help me hear my music, she was kind of loud before but now that I upped the compression to 11.4 with this setup it will be even louder.
John... some RCA's will include a small wire with it to be used for the remote turn on. Otherwise get yourself some 18 ga wire and run. This will be connected to a wire on the PAC adapter and run to the amp.
That sounds like a potent engine you are building. I know your sub will overpower the exhaust note, but I forsee some new front speakers possibly.
Thanks Dave
I'm looking for my car to run high tens after it is finished, I'm going to flat bed the car to Mike Norris in orlando to have him tune it again, I live about 75 miles from him,he really knows what he's doing, and has helped with this combo i'm installing.
Motors I know inside and out ,this audio stuff might as well be in a foreign language, D2-D4, Pac,Ohms, Cross bridge, etc. etc.

Just picked up the wood, my friend is dropping off RCA's and power cable with fuse and switch on Monday, what do I need to get the wires from the inside of the box to the outside, some sort of plate or something that I can attach the speaker wires to?
From: Murfreesboro, TN. "I'm like a kid in a candy store everytime I see a Corvette!!"
If you mean the speaker wire, you can drill a hole large enough to send the wires through the box, wherever you choose, and typically you can seal the hole around the wiring with latex silicone you buy at Home Depot, or with Hot Glue.
Here is a picture of a box I built a few days ago... I sell the boxes in my online store located here.
Good luck with your box!

John,
You can do as NCR Dave showed by running wires through the box and silicone them shut (you don't want air leaking out of the box during use).
I go to Radio Shack and get a plate with binding posts on it and mount that to the box. The inside has spades to hook wires from the plate to the sub. The outside has posts that the wires slip through and you tighten down the nuts.
