XM Antenna-C4 Mount Location ??
I just bought all the crap to make my XM ready head unit actually ready
Where are you C4 owners mounting the antenna. I would like to avoid the outside if possible.

well... where you are, I donno how strong the signal will be, and I don't foresee your area getting ground repeaters... so...
I put mine on the painted panel a top the glass hatch, it opens with the hatch.
Looks fine...
I used 3M double stick tape to anchor it down.

I put mine on the metal braket inboard of the surge tank, under,yes, under the hood, and ran the wire along & tie wrapped to the hood release cable to the drivers side, once there, between the battery and firewall there is a bundle of wires that go's thru a grommet in the firewall and into the cockpit under the dash. I checked the siginal strength and get 4 to 5 bars. Works good for me
