Car and Driver will publish a radar detector issue with the latest detectors in the October issue. They have always had fair tests and the V1 has always beat all other detectors. I'm sure it will still be true.

I'm going to let this topic continue as long as it remains civil . Just don't go down the tired path of flaming over it. It's not too bad so far, but I'm going to be watching.
