Best Radar Detector
Hello, just trying to get some fed back on radar Detectors! I'm looking at the escort Solo S2 for 349.00 at a local audio shop.. Could someone give me some fed back on this unit or if there something better on the market...
Thanks

I love the Solo 2 - but it does not handle the POP radar. Bummer.

Get a Valentine One.
Battery operated radar detectors will never have the range of a corded one and battery operated detectors can't detect K POP or Ka POP radar.

Radar used:
Kustom Golden Eagle, 35.5 GHz.
Results in number of feet from source at which the detector alerted.

I decided not to buy a radar detector cause I just dont think it'll save me from getting a ticket. If anything, it would give me a false hope and i'd speed even more.
