Probably a noob question, but what's the small red and black lines for? Also, what the advantage of running the ground back to the battery?
They got it right If you look to the right side of the picture you will see the 120 volt plug and the black box that is the trickle charger.
In most cases, running an extra ground for the stereo is not needed (it costs more, allot more for 0-guage) I did it because it is a fiberglass body and for the looks. I'm running close to 2,000 watts rms.
