6) MoJo, this post should be on the general site. This audio site is a disaster.
WTF is with that? Couple things you might want to consider:

1) you are slowly falling into a minority in numbers for vette ownership. As every new version comes out, new people come into the hobby or old timers like yourself move into new rides, OR they have already modified everything as they have seen fit to modify and ask fewer and fewer questions. Therefore you will not see a lot of c2/c3/c4 era questions asked in our "disastorous" forum.

2) much like yourself the people that frequent this section of the site are here to help as much as they can, maybe you don't think so but to each their own.

3) From an outside perspective you are adding more flavor to what is essentially crap. And going through a pretty time consuming process to do so, but hey once again to each their own.

4) your initial post, regardless of how much you care about the internet or "typeing" was hard to understand. That was not our fault it was yours. No reason to get pissed at the rest of us who failed to understand what you were even talking about.

Hope you work out what you are trying to do, I personally could guarantee better results with about $500 spent and you would never have to worry about another relay, shyt blose paper speaker, or HU for a LONG LONG time to come. But hey if it brings you enjoyment, have fun!

Bogus thanks for input. I missed your Bose reply. I too had a concern about how an unenclosed speaker would sound and decided to get one of those cheap cardboard enclosures. As for as the the rest, I have enough spare parts. If I blow something Ii can always put it back. We don't use cds thats why the cd player in my vette still works. pax

PS
My husband asked me to come up and put punctuation marks in. I am in the middle of baking a cake. You guys are on your own for the rest of the night. I only want to drive my car, I don't want to spend my time typing and talking about it.

Even though it appears you are an old, bitter man if you have an audio question about ANY year CAR for that matter it is likely I will pipe in provided I have the knowledge to help. Feel free to ask ANY of the people in this section who have pm'd, sent emails, or phoned me to ask for system help or advice .. and these people have been here for more than 2 days.

G'luck to you and your project and praise to an obviously patient woman

I still think, that deep down inside, you are still polishing a turd by adding more drivers to an already poor system. But that's my opinion.

An opinion based upon 5 years of messing with Bose systems in Vettes and about 20 years of car audio in general. So... take it for what it is worth.
