Quick, easy question - Positive and Negative
If I run wires through my Vette and do not mark them positive and negative at each end, how can I tell which is which?

Multimeter - or continuity tester. - see radio shack
- Always mark wires first - I use any grooves or lettering on a wire indicating it's a + wire.

If you haven't done it yet, tie a knot in one wire, put black tape on one wire, etc. If you already ran them, you can use a meter to test. If they are power and ground, hook a meter or test light to a ground and test for power. If its an RCA, hook them up and try the balance and faders. IF they are backwards, switch them after you turn off the system.

The fastest way to test is to touch the 2 wires together. :eek: JUST KIDDING. Get a test light from the Shack. They are $5-$10. Next time, mark your wires.
