Default Question about rear speaker area

OK I will be up front, I am being a bit lazy with this question

What I am curious about is in the rear of an FRC where the rear speakers are located, does anyone have the approximate dimensions (h/w and depth) of this area with the speaker removed? You see it is 113 here and I really lack the motivation to rip out the cover/partition and half of the rear interior to find out for myself

I am trying to find possible locations hidden/completely out of the way for a few farad's worth of reinforcement for my system. I dip into the 12.2 to 12.4 region too often with my system cranked up and the lights/fogs on. So I am hoping I can rip that crap paper blose speaker out and replace it with something useful

Thanks in advance
Fej

fej i checked mine out tonight; though it's a vert i think they are the same. i put a 1 farrad cap that i had laying roun in that area and there is no way that it's going to fit behind the grill. it may fit if you make a holster for it and dont mind it not being displayed behind a window or something like that

Hmm ok thanks bro for checking that out for me. I need to double check the exact space I have available behind the interior bits as well. As I have never used caps before in any of my installs would there be a problem putting it underneath my sub box? It just might fit

though i have a cap, i have never used one either. the thing is sitting in my closet for the day i end up making a doomsday device.

as far as putting it under the sub box...not sure about the pros and cons of that. i wonder if they get too hot?
