I have a high intensity L.e.d. that require a 470 ohm resistor to run on 12 volts D.C.. If I start running more than one l.e.d. with one resistor I lose intensity.I tried to reduce the resistance and this resulted in the LED's dimming and not getting brighter......
I think I have my train of thought back words do I have to increase my value?????
I am trying to run 18 LED's off of one resistor.....I no ohm's law comes into play but electronics class was a long time ago.
Can someone help me with the formula that would apply....
And do it for me...
Thanks in advance...

I typically just solder in one resistor per LED as they are cheap to buy, and when soldering them in line an heat shrinked, they are still very inobtrusive...
