Looks fine from the picture. How did you hold the bottom plate in? How are the edges where the plate mates with the dash? How is the deck held in place?
I have my deck mounted toward the bottom instead of the top so it didn't dangle to much. Looks from the shots to be a good job.

Looks GREAT, except you put it in the wrong Vette, I'll leave the keys under the floor mat, it's the Metallic Dark Red one at the curb!!!!!!!!!!

Looks good, but my only complaint would be that the radio isn't flush like the bottom plate is. But still looks good

And would you hide that amp wire behind the carpet or kick pannel? Red down there just doesn't look good.

Thanks for the feedback
I custom made a cd " holder" to get the angel right. Just 2 plastic "sticks" on the back of the cd player, pointing down. I hade to cut out all of the plastic behind the cd player to get it in all the way. I even had to buy 90 deg angel RCA connectors. Its tight
I dident use anny of the orginal wiring. The + side is direct from the battery with a fuse on it. The - side is grounded from the seat, with a "nosie killer" on it, to get rid of the wiiiii sound
I have a 4 channel AMP in the storage bay.
4" midrange in front with homemade filters, tweeters on the dash ( se pic ).
6,5" in the back going down to 30Hz, but they can take it
A active pioneere 8" in the back..
Sounds nice.
But after my muffler elim installation, I cant hear it annyway
Regards..
and yes, the red ugly wire is now behind the carpet

Looks like my install. Did you use an install kit. I used one from American International and it turned out like yours, I couldn't get mine flush either. I belive you would have to forgo an install kit and figure out a custom mounting to make one fit flush, but with the install kit I didn't have to worry about mounting the deck, it slipped right into the sleeve and faceplate.
