2000 vert speaker upgrade?
Help me figure what to replace the factory speakers in my car for a richer sound. Can I change front and back and what would be the best to conect to bose HU. Wish I can change HU but do not want to tear up car. just bought a bose 12 disc cd changer so I pretty much am stuck with the unit unless I sell all and start from scratch. Someone posted Infinity speakers for a replacement. I think 6.5 in rear and just the 3.5 up front. Any other ideas out there. And I would need to change wiring I would suppose. Any ideas would help so much!!!

first read teh c5 faq.
second, if you are just changing the front 3.5" and the rear 5.25" inch then i wouldn't bother with replacing the wire.
if you used a bose interface and totally replace the bose speakers with an amp and aftermarket speakers; then yes, redo the wiring.

Want to change the all the speakers to what ever will be easy to swap out. What ever will fit there and sound better than stock. Should do whole system, I know but would not have a clue what to put there. Had an 85 with a 4K system and ran into some electricial drainage during summer heat. System was very very cool. will post pics of that setup. The guy before me had it done.

I am getting a vibrating from the right front speaker. Are the front speakers one piece or two. Seeing a pic of them they look like a tweeter attached to a cone. I will read the spec on them. they have a front stock pair on ebay, but I really want to change them all out for better.

u have to get a stock replacement sub they run at a weird impedance if i recall. i think its coming down to shop on ebay for new sub or rip it all out and start with new stuff
