Default Re: Door panel removal. (6SPEEDY)

Go buy a GM door removal tool at DAP. It looks like a funny bent forked screwdriver. Grind the forked blade to be thin enough to fit under the door panel. You need to use a flashlight to find the hidden fasteners. They are a two piece design. The female piece is snapped into a hole in the FRP door frame. The skinny male piece in clipped to the door panel. Use the removal tool and push it between the two pieces. If you pull too hard on the door panel without seperating the two pieces of the fastener, you may pull the female piece of the fastener out of the FRP frame, damaging it.

To put the panel back, make sure that you position all the male pieces of the fasteners in the female pieces.
