Default no power on HU

I'm in the process of installing the new stereo and all of the sudden last night the nav system won't power on. It happened once while I was in vegas a few weeks ago but when I went out later to the car it turned on fine. Haven't had the problem since then. Does anyone have any ideas whats going on?

As I recall you still have the stock head unit? Unusual that a wire or harness would come loose, but certainly not unheard of. Have you put anything inline or tapped for line level output?

You're right, I still have the stock HU. I haven't put anything in or take anything out since I took out my neucleus 2 weeks ago.

Sounds like a loose harness or loose wire in the harness then. Which head do you have again? Probably the same harness regardless, but I'll check my service manual and see if I can identify which wire you need to look at for HU power.
