Crossover adjustment for Alpine CDA-9857?
It has front, rear, and sub line outputs. I am using the front L/R and sub outs with an external amp. The question is whether the CDA-9857 has an internal crossover and how to select the xover frequency.
The presence of a sub out would suggest a crossover but the only sub parameter controls are on/off, level, EQ center frequency and bandwidth (Q) - nothing to suggest that when the sub is set to "on" there is a frequency split between the sub out and the front channels, what the xover frequency might be or how to adjust it.
The manual offers no spec, schematic, or explanation.
I'm going to check with Alpine in the morning but has anyone run into this issue - any thoughts? Thanks
