Thanks...I really should not post those pics. As you can see I did not clean anything up and there are a bunch of marks on the brass. When it is finished I will post up those pics and the front where the stock battery was.

Ah c'mon, the doing it is at LEAST half the fun and sharing what you did might be the other half. Always share and enjoy!
Cool stuff eatrice. My wife thinks I go too far to get a nice end result. I might pull a bumper cover, but a fender panel. I don't think so. Hey scott, My battery backup on my home computer safely shuts down the computer when commercial power goes out. I'm sure you could adapt it some how.
the psu that i have for my computer has a shut down controller that shuts the computer down safetly when the power is pulled. i'm just not sure if it works with aopen computers

Sometimes you just have to take stuff apart..women they never understand...lol. My car was down to nothing...no doors, hood, hatch...the whole works. And my wife is on me about it all the time..lol.
Not sure how much power I am going to run yet. The dual batteries are for a couple of reasons. One was so the car is balanced...those things weigh a ton. The other is so I would not have to worry about reserve power with the car not running. I have about another five hours worth of machinging to do and a few hours of putting it together and the batteries will be finished. Those brass plates started off as one big solid plate.
Yes...very nuts. You will see.
Damn EG your list must be longer then you are tall..lol.
That sounds like "not good." Or at least for the purpose.
I only stumbled across that because I was hunting down something for my Mom to use for e-mail and was thinking of burying that in the kitchen with an LCD TV.
