I guess this may be a stupid question but I'm a bit confused....are you modifing the back of the vehicle's deminsions or is there that much open space between the tail lights and the car's interior?

No modifications needed - there is a ton of space back there. I'll be running duals back there as well - but not batteries

So does it require above average skills to remove that back section or can it be removed and reinstalled without body work and repainting?

Easily removed in about 15 minutes with basic hand tools. Just bolts on, no paint or bodywork needed.

The batteries I am using my car only fit with the Tigershark rear bumber. A shorter battery would work with the sotck bumber. EG is right on the money...it is easy to remove the bumper cover and there is alot of room.

Randy,
It has been awhile but I remember you having someone who does custom altenators. I need one for a 1992 Eagle Talon TsiAWD and I'm ready to buy now.

Don't spend all your money on an alt.

i'm wondering if i'm going to need one too. are there any issues with upgraded altenators? i heard there was a drawback to them at idle.

I don't know but Randy will
I know some manufacturers will change the size of the pulley to get more amps. I was under the impression that can be trouble in high rpms since the different pulley size really gets that alt spinning
That shouldn't be a problem with this Talon since it is an automatic and my revs don't get up there too much. Now the alt I will need someday for my red Talon is different story, she will have a rev limiter at 8000 rpm
