I have a 89 vette with the bose system, car only has 21,000 miles on it, but the radio sounds sick. My question is, how much work is involed in replacing the system with a non bose radio? Thanks for any help you may have.
Replaced the Bose in my '87 with a Kenwood CD and 4 new speakers all installed for just over $200. If you use the car alot (mines a daily driver)it's worth the upgrade.
My Bose system only plays the door speakers and no CDs at all. I plan to upgrade in the near future. It's a beautiful car and needs beautiful sound to match.
