Default XM Receiver Location

I may do the swap and install the Sirrus receiver in my 2005 C6 Coupe but where is the XM receiver located and how to access that area. The Sirrus write up I saw in general section and only $79 from Circuit City with direct plug and play may be a nice option but I want to see the location in the car and also hear what Sirrus has to offer. Thanks

The stock XM receiver in the C6 is located under the carpet of the rear tire hump on the drivers side. As for which service provides the best content, Sirius or XM, that is personal taste. I like XM myself because it provides more services and options, but you may prefer Sirius. It's all up to you.

Very easy to get to, just peel back the carpet and it's right there.

I think Sirius & XM both have free trials where you can stream their service for a few days from their web sites. Best way to find out which you'd like.
