ipod loops w/ipod2car

ipod loops w/ipod2car
So I got a Peripheral ipod2car from ebay, sounds great, but...
1) Stock controls to change songs are sluggish at best. I can live that.
2) Trying to back up a song is damn near impossible. I can live with that.
3) Sometimes gotta flip between radio and back to aux to get it to respond. I can live with that.
4) After xx number of songs, it loops.
What i mean by loops is, it may play 8 or 9 songs, and then instead of going to the next, it loops back to the one it started with. At that point I either have to keep skipping forward via the head unit and hope it doesn't do it again, or deal with it manually on the ipod (it's in the center console).
I've triple checked the connections, and double checked the dip switches. Suggestions? (other than live with it

Sorry, but this is the exact reason why I just stayed wiht using the ipod itself to control it. The HU controls were quirky and never right for me at least. SOme people have had better luck. I think you can contact the company and they can try to trouble shoot for you, that is if you know the manufacturer of the piece. Its probably Peripherals(sp?) they can take you through steps to reset it and that will sometimes work. Good Luck adn hope this helps you out

I talke to Peripheral face to face for you today. But I did not have enough information to get an answer. They said you should call the tech line and they can walk you through a fix. You do not have a changer still connected..right?

Thanks for the replies! I'll have to give them a ring when I get back from my Thanksgiving trip.
EatRice: Thanks for asking them! No, I had a changer but removed it, so all that's back there now is the ipod2car and the GM adapter harness (connected to the factory harness).
I'll post again when/if I get an answer from Peripherals.
