removeable face plate probs
All of my stereos with removable face plates lose their digital displays after about a year. These are not no name brands either: Pioneer, Alpine, and Panasonic. Is this normal, am I doing somthing wrong? Is their an easy fix? Any help would sure be appreciated.

try rubbing alcohol on the contacts
I have a 4 year old pioneer holding up fine. Both my alpines are great all though on my older one part of the display doesnt light as bright as it used to. On that note I remove my face plate once a year, when I put the car in storage
