Default C4: Help deciding between two components

My eyes are bleeding from all this reading - I need a little more advice
First-time system in my 96 C4 - had decided on eDi 6500s in the front but now looking at MB Quarts - here's the specs:

Elemental Designs EDi 6500s
size 6.5"
freq range - 40hz - 20khz
power - 150w

MB Quart Premium PCE 213
size 5 1/4"
freq range - 52hz - 32khz
power - 100w

They are both about the same price range - around $250

Now the EDs I hear good things about but would require custom mounts.
The MB Quarts can go straight in (but would stock mounts do them justice anyway?)

I am going totally from specs here but the MBs seem to have a better frequency response, however you just can't tell till you've heard the differences.

I listen to mostly electronic, drum n base, hip hop, with some alternative thrown in, and I would say I prefer clarity over volume. I will also be getting a nice sub in the back.

Have any of you pros experience with both of these components?
Should I bother with 5 1/4 at all and just go with 6 1/2 and not worry about fabrication?

If I can make this decision then I am good to go with the whole system

What types of tweeters with both?

I have heard ED 6500s, I like them nice warm sound. I have not heard MB Quart in almost 12 years, but I remember them being harsh THEN, not sure about now.. I suggest finding a somebod local with quarts and someone with eD and compare yourself, everyones tastes are different.

Stock mounts prly will not do any speaker justice. Personally I say go with the 6500 its a very warm speaker the sound of it is fantastic, for the price range I havent seen anything remotely touch it. Either way I think you will be happy though
