c5 - head unit. It won't go in.
Too deep. Steel support bracket is not an issue.
Tried right angle plugs
btw, knukonceptz wire sucks, the stupid connectors are HUGE. Who the **** would design huge RCA connectors to go in a car?
This wouldn't be a problem if I kept my Alpine 7998, it had the RCAS bundled and hanging from the back. Not like the cheap *** on-board mounts in my 9855. Just one more reminder of Alpine's overwhelming commitment to ltheir 2005 new years resolution to lower their quality and built poorly designed garbage.
using a Metra kit, btw. Because no one wants to sell me an HUMOUNT.
Im trying to flush mount with the metra (no spacer ring)

Ok I agree about knukonceptz using big RCA plugs they deff could be smaller and idk wtf alpine is thinking cause its a bitch with the RCAs where they are. I personally have done it with a HU mount which resess even a little further with the knukonceptz RCAs so its doable. Go to town on that plastic back there and notch it out where the RCAs hit it thats what I did and just force the bitch in

Its not that thick actually if i recall liek an inch behind it there is somethin i remeber carfully drillin a hole and wedging a saw blade in there and trimming it out, I know im not the first who has had to do this.
I dont remeber if my fuse 22 is open or not but the car isnt here to check
