Not really a vette question, but I'm putting a new radio in my Neon and I'm having trouble
I wired in the harnesses and plugged the radio into the car, I spliced in the ground and the cd player gave that little whirring sound so I know it was gettting juice.
However when I started the car and pushed the power button the radio didn't work :(
That's sort of the quick version of the story, anyone see anything that might be obviously wrong?
Radios have two power wires. Check both to make sure you have power to both wires. One will be constant, the other igntion. You could have one and not the other and get limited functions like the one you described. If the unit is already installed, check the fuses first(both). No point in tearing it apart if it is a fuse.
