Default C5 Ground Points

Okay, I have read that using the seat bolt to ground your amp is one common spot but I want to keep my ground wires as short as possible. I also saw mention of a spot that is a bolt to the frame rail somewhere in the rear compartment. This would be a lot shorter run but the problem is I can't find a good description of exactly where it is.

I have attached 2 pics that seem like they might be what was refered to. The first is just a bulge next to the center compartment that looks like it might have a bolt underneath if I cut a hole in it. This appears to be directly over the frame.

The second has a tab that the carpet slides over. I can see the hole going through the composite but it is hard to tell what is underneath.

Can anyone tell me if either of these spots are okay to use or is it somewhere else and I can't see it because of my Frost King? This is an 02 Z06 BTW. Thanks!

I used the factory ground point on the passanger side B-pillar. It is just below the upper seatbelt retractor. I also ran the groud for the head unit to this spot.

Thanks, that sounds like a good option. I will check it out today.
