Cool stuff from JVC!
Just ran across this and was wandering if anyone knew anything more about it...like when it will be out? I know in the past JVC hasnt been the greatest, but they have some pretty cool stuff out there right now. Anyone here using any of their newer products? hows the quality?

There's nothing wrong with JVC....it has always had the rep of good value for the money but one half step behind the likes of Alpine and Eclipse....it might be a hard sell only because it will run close to the price of a 6.5 or 7 inch screen.....interesting looking unit

Yeah, I just found this http://www.engadget.com/tag/jvc/ I was a little dissapointed with the $1200 tag opn it! But then it does have some cool features, I think the larger units are closer to 2k right? But the AVX33/38 looks pretty good. Looks like the 38 will be $650ish, looks like the 33 is the same unit, I couldnt find a diff anyway. No nav but everything else is pretty sweet, built in bluetooth, USB port, DVD, MP3, Sat ready. all the features I really want (nav would just be cool). I may give it a try if i can figure out when and where to get ahold of one.

I have been looking at this unit for some time now... I need to replace my Sony MEX-1HD with something new.

Yup, looks like the AVX-33 is the AVX2 with bluetooth and USB. The NX500 adds HDD nav and MP3 storage capability to that. Both pretty sweet, Ive only seen an expected price so far. If anyone finds either of these actually for sale anywhere let us know!
