C6 Nav in C5?
Well there are a number of reasons why not to... the first being how do you get the proper turn-on signal sent via the serial bus. Maybe the C5 data bus is the same and sends the same signal, but I don't know.
The second and more important.. there are WAY better aftermarket solutions out there now than the C6 NAV. And I OWN the stock C6 NAV so I know what I'm talking about!
For the money it would cost to install the C6 NAV you could put a Pioneer or Eclipse unit in and get better sound quality and more features. Easy math.
actually there komonman was steering you straight. there are a lot of nav headunits that will fit in well. you don't get as much of the tecnho-geek-bling look in a full double din nav headunit so you have a few choices. yes, the z1 is supposed to be nice, most of the eclipses look great and sound great... probably better then the z1 so i guess it's not really "/end thread". there are also less expensive alpine units that don't have hard drives in them. *cough* or you can go car pc *cough*
