Soundgate GMCRV1
Hi,
We are going to be replacing the stock BOSE HU in my Wife's C5 this spring. We have been doing a lot of research on this and have learned the using the Soundgate GMCRV1 adapter we can use and after market HU with the BOSE speakers. And everyone was stating that this adapter was around 100 dollars. I found it at installationproducts.com and the cost was 78.30. I ordered it last Thursday night and UPS just delivered it.
We even got the GMACC interface so the HU acts the same way as the stock HU does today as far as stays playing after the key is removed but shuts off when you open the door.
Total or both including shipping 134 and change.

I would but the car is in the paint shop not due out until March 1. Anyway still waitning for HU, and faceplate to come in.
Has anyone ever installed this GMACC RAP Interface?
I can understand the Constant Power In and Ground In, I believe the RAP 12 volts out goes to the new HU. But what is the Class 2 Bus IN? It's a pink wire on the interface.
