As a part of my interior mods I want to install sound deadener in my C5 coupe. How many square feet will it take to cover the entire floor, cargo area and doors?
180 sq feet for 1 layer, but you may not need that. fej posted a great sound deadener article in someone elses post about sound deadener. it should be on page one or two of the audio forums.

What is your goal? Do you want to get rid of road noise or vibration noise?
read that article to get a better idea of what you may need. it seems that only a few panels need mat or liquid deadners. a foam layer does a better job for road noise.

it seems ok. Not sure if its a self adhesive or not. I know that elemental designs has the self stick stuff. They also have the forum discount until feb 1st.
raammat. I did a lot of research and found that this is the best for the price. Atleast, that's what I gathered from all the reviews on a bunch of audio boards and the owner of raammat is a great guy and supposed to have incredible customer support and service. I will be ordering mat and foam from them very soon.
/\ I read their web page last night. Seems like their mat and foam is first rate and cheaper than what Parts Express carries. Please let me know how you like thier mats and foam.
ive used dynamat and edead v1se2... happy with both one was far less expensive. did a whole car at work with the tsunami stuff it worked great and the car was silent
