getting 'ERR' when trying to use MP3 player
I have a 2001 C5 coupe with single disc CD (no factory changer).
I bought the harness to go from the factory CD changer pigtail to a PIE GM10-AUX box. From the PIE box I have a RCA to mini-din to the ZUNE.
When I go to switch to the AUX on the factory radio it sits on CD (not changing to the CD changer) for about 1 min, then displays 'ERR'..
Any help would be appreciated.

Common problem easily fixed. Turn car off, unplug harness adaptor from AUX CD cable, wait a couple minutes, plug cable back in, turn on car, press aux and you should get CD 1 1.
If that doesn't work do a search in the forum audio section, some guys have had success using different sequences (or methods), but it will straighten itself out. Mine did it and I just unplugged the harness adaptor (GM10) with the key still in the aux pwr position, waited a few seconds, plugged it back in and it worked, don't know if that is the safest way to do it though ( I live on the edge).
