c5 small compartments...

c5 small compartments...
This is something Ive been wondering... Maybe the audio gurus can help me out here... I would like to take those two covers off of the side compartments in the back. I know on the left side that there is an amp (I think). Can that be relocated?? Becuase if so...I think I COULDD put 2 8's in those little slots.... What do yall think....???

I have tinkered with the side compartment boxes and actually made a fiberglass box for one side ( although not finished ), but the airspace you will have will be very minimal. I was going to use some Diamond Audio 8's. I haven't had time to complete them yet as they still lack the tops, but unless you bring them up from the floor a little there will be little airspace to work with. It can be done sitting flush with the floor, but only a few subs will work in this small space. I am still working with the ones I have and hope to have them done within the next couple of months. I will be using the center compartment which has a 10" along with the 8's in the side compartments. Heres hopefully what it will look like,lol.
