wonder what the specs are on it
The KDC-X991 CD receiver features a brand-new DAP - an
innovative platform that improves dynamic range and noise
tolerance. It is further supported by Kenwood's original
Supreme technology to restore the high-frequency elements
that are often lost in a typical compressed audio file, making
possible noise-free yet dynamic playback of digital sources.
The DAP is also capable of ripping from CDDA to WMA
format at X1 speed while you listen to music, or copying
USB data (MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV) to its built-in
512MB flash memory. A transfer takes only about 5 seconds
to import a 5-minute long song, and the memory can
store up to 370 songs. Sound quality can be selected from
three file formats. The new DSP portion of the DAP features
SRS WOW HDTM audio enhancement technology for
improved clarity and acoustic presence, a sound management
system, independent 5-channel digital time alignment
and customized capacitor for greater sound quality.
Externally, the KDC-X991 features a 4,096-color OEL display,
which is brighter and responds faster than conventional LCD
displays for rich and vivid color reproduction.
Graphic Motion Analyzer
Kenwood G-Analyzer or GMA offers you five displays —
G-Graphic, G-Meter, G-Counter and Stop Watch, plus
Horse-power function that measures and records the max
horse-power of your car. GMA information can be viewed
as numerical data or enhanced graphics on the head unit's
display.
USB 2.0 Direct Connection
Models featuring USB port enable connection to portable
USB mass-storage players/USB thumb drives and audio
control of most MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) players. A
single or multi-slot card reader*1 can also be connected to
the USB port, allowing your music

types of memory cards*2. The
connected USB device is also
