OK, so I replace my front door speakers and the passenger door trim panel won't stay fastened to the door. I go to the dealer to get 4 new retainers and grommets and then he informs me of the price. $4+ for the retainers and $5 for the grommets(each). I was amazed and the kid's answer was "that's what you get for driving a high end car"
The grommets were trashed from popping the panel off.
Sorry just had to vent.

try a local parts store for some generic ones.

Or give them a different make/model, I doubht Chevy uses a bunch of different pop clips.

Also worth checking in with some of the forum parts vendors like GMpartshouse.com. Gene is generally way cheaper than dealer parts windows.

I got some from gene last week. Dont' remember the exact price, but it was less than half of dealers price. They come in a 10 pack so you'll have spares.

GM parts depts suck more consistently than any other brand I've dealt with. Don't even get me started on the crap I went through trying to get a couple of wiring harness pins.

The retainers are on the site, but the grommets aren't. Look in the collision catalog under Door/Door Trim Panel. I f you nee the grommets(which break very easily) you should call Gene.
