CD Changer ?
Im sure its been asked a hundred times, but is it possible to retain the stock CD changer in my '98 if adding subs/amps. I read in the sticky that the head unit can be kept with the use of a special wiring harness, but it didnt mention the CD changer. I would have to move it because I intend on getting one of the stealth boxes. Or would it just be easier to buy a new head unit and CD changer and replace the Bose system?

You can move the CD changer to one of the side compartments. There is enough room and enough slack in the factory wiring to do so. You can also do the alternative which is getting another headunit.
