Will this fit?

I've done a search and took a look scott_fx's very informative FAQ, however, I was unable to find what I was looking for...how much depth is available in the radio compartment?

I am very interested in purchasing/installing the G4 by Infill. I know this will require modification to the bezel, however, there is no sense in undertaking the job if the unit will not fit (I don't want it sticking out).

So were looking at a 7.5" mounting depth i think to keep cables from being smashed.

Probably closer to 7.75" (or even 8"). Do you know if there is enough room in the C5 radio compartment to accommodate this? Please advise.

i say its time to get in there and measure but i doubt it will fit and if it does ur gonna have to do some major cutting in the back of the dash

I'm trying to avoid having to remove the bezel (a small PITA IMHO) and measure. Is there anyone out there who happens to know the depth dimension? Scott_fx?? Please advise.

Without moddin back there basically its not possiable when I put an alpine in with a flushmount we had to cut the metal tab out and hack plastic for the rca's to fit and I bent the hell out of the rca's just to get it to clear
