Ready to pull the trigger! Please Help!


Komoman - It seems perfectly logical. If you bridge you send 300 watts to a combination of the voice coils (150 per), so if I run them like two seperate speakers I still get 150 per voice coil. I never thought of that.

What happens when you run different signals into each voice coil of a dual voice coil speaker?
...If a dual voice coil subwoofer must be wired to two independent channels, the inputs to both channels should ideally be the same (summed mono) and every effort should be made to match the gains of both channels as closely as possible.
Does this mean that I should Y the left and right down to one, then Y the one back to two?
