Volume Limited in 2007 Nav Unit?......

Volume Limited in 2007 Nav Unit?......
I just upgraded from a 2006 Coupe to a 2007 Z06. I didn't want Nav, but it already had it.
I had my system moved from my Coupe to my Z06......box with one 10" sub, 2-channel sub Amp powering the sub. Alpine 4 channel amp powering Kicker separates in the doors.
The system sounded GREAT in my Coupe. Windows down, roof off......no problem. But, in the Z06, the Nav unit "caps" the volume pretty low. You keep turning the ***.....but it's capped. With the windows down, it's not nearly loud enough.
Anyone else experience this issue with the Nav unit (with or without an aftermarket system)?
I know my system is capable of much more. Any help would be great.

Check the gains on your amps. The NAV head output may be at a lower level than whatever head you were using in your coupe so the amps gain will need to be reset to match the current system.
There are a few tuning threads in this section lately, do a search on "tuning" and you should find them pretty quickly to give you an idea of what you need to do.
