Alpine flip-out in C5?

Has anyone here mount an Alpine flip-out head unit in a C5? I am interested in installing one, but don't know if it comes out enough to clear the bezel in a C5 or not.

My 7998 technically flips out. (not so much as a full screen DVD player)

I used a protruding mount to be safe (and have room for a .5 DIN processor)

I can dig up pics if you like...

I had an Alpine IVA-800 (back in 2000/2001) which had a flip up screen. It worked fine, just blocked the vents when open...
