Audio Dave C6 Install Part II

If you all will recall, Dave installed my Eclipse AVN6600 nav/DVD unit in my C6 last fall. He has now completed my system with Eclipse SC8365 component 3-ways in the doors, a 10" Memphis sub in one of his custom-built enclosures, and a Soundstream Picasso 4-channel amp in a custom-built rack with a separate storage compartment. He now sells these racks through his website (corvettecaraudio.com) along with the sub box & the door speaker plates. These are all top notch items in fit & finish, also the sound from the box is fantastic! And the amount of extra storage space the "Vette Bin" gives is phenomenal. I couldn't be happier with Dave's work & recommend his shop (Audiovizions in Murfreesboro, TN) very highly. He is passionate about all model Vettes & loves his work.

I have this shot of the door interior. He mounted the two inch midrange driver up in the opening for the factory 3.5" speaker opening. The tweeter was mounted next the the 6.5" midwoofer in the lower
door opening. As you can see, he fashioned a bracket to allow the smaller-sized drivers to fit. Pic:
