GM Add-on Keyless entry
Years ago GM made an Add-on keyless entry systme for cars called VKE 1000
I have one on my 89 Vette and would like to find another one btu I have had ZERO luck.. any ideas of where I could find something similar?
I really DON'T want an alarm...

I did a search six months ago for a non-alarm keyless and a window controller, and decided on the DEI 712t (sold under various brand names with same model #.)
I think it was about $30 from Amazon.
Haven't installed it yet, so can't speak to performance, but the brand had better reviews than most of the other cheap ones.

FYI, I think the VKE-1000 must have been made by DEI.
I started installing mine tonight, and happened to look at the VKE-1000 manual. Based on the common drawings, wire colors, and wire labels they appear to be made by the same company.
