I have not but the easiest method would be get the small FM transmitter that plugs into the top of the ipod (or the cradle type that holds the ipod and charges at the same time-plugs into cigarette lighter).
This unit transmits a signal to your car FM receiver from your ipod.
Quick, easy on no direct connection to your system. Plus you can move it from car to car easily.
Another option if you have one with a cassette is to use a cassette adapter. This is what we use and works great. We also use the cigarette adapter for power.
I wish someone had a direct connect option, but no luck. I have the FM transmitter, and it sounds like a$$ compared to the direct connect I have in my Maxima. I have seen an FM gizmo that connects directly to the antenna, but I don't know if it sounds any better.
FWIW: There are some RF based connections that install a device inline with the antenna wire so that the reception is better than the tiny transmitters. On your '95 the antenna wire is easy to get to under the jack.
If you go to Best Buy, Metra makes a direct FM Modulator that is far superior to the wireless. It's around $40. If you have an 88+ model you will need an additional $25 in antenna adapters.

I tried the FM transmitter and returned it because it was a piece of crap. Lots of signal loss and static. Sound quality was definitely sub-par. I use a cassette adapter now and it's much better. It's perfect for what I use it for.
FM transmitter...."Monster Blaster" at Radio Shack. Is it perfectly clean sound? Hell no!, but better than my singing!
Tried the cassette tape variety, but that didn't work in my car....kept wanting to switch sides of the "tape" every 3 seconds.
For you old farts like me, if you've never tried an Ipod, find a grandkid and have 'em show ya what they can do. Eliminates carrying around a pile of CD's in your car....You can put hundreds....maybe thousands of songs on them depending on which Ipod you get. Ya only put songs YOU choose on 'em......no dragging a disc around in your car for 1 or 2 songs you like.
Also, for .99, ya can buy and download dang near any song from the dim past that you can recall ("Chevy Van" from the '70s was one of mine). You know....those songs you've always wanted to have, but didnt wanna even try to find something that old, and buy the CD for the one song.
I use a "Transpod" works well for me and plugs into the lighter. Works great on those cross country trips. Cost 29.99
Maybe it has something to do with the geographical area you're in but I was very disappointed with the Transpod. I ended up getting the cassette adapter at Walmart for like $12 and it works great. Most MP3 players have several hours of battery life. If you're going to be on the road for longer than that, you can purchase the charger that plugs into the lighter...

I doubt it. Maybe you had a defective unit. I just drove a 96 CE from KY to AZ and it was clear as a bell. So from one half of the nation to the other I would have to disagree. You must turn off the AUTO tune button on your BOSE so you can use the fine tune on the TRANSPOD. Clear as a bell and it charges the unit as you drive.
The cassette adapters work well also but hate the wires
The stock antenna in C4s is crap. I've tried several FM transmitters and they all sound bad. They do sound excellent with my Audi Bose system with its little 1 ft antenna. Absolutely no interference or any problems, sound is very good.
Using Belkin FM kit now. I am considering replacing the stock antenna with something better while I am dismantling the car for painting anyway.

I bought the cassette adaptor and use it in my beater daily driver. Works great with my new Ipod. I had tried that same adaptor in my 87 vert when trying to play CDs from a portable player and it kept reversing itself every few seconds too.
I hooked my Sirius Satallite radio up through my Cassette tape adapter... sound wayyyyy better than using a crappy FM modulator.... I fabed up a mount that rests in the cup holder and bam done deal.
