I am getting ready to replace my Bose including new speakers at all 4 locations. Before I go too far I wanted to ask for suggestions on routing the new speaker cables from the dash to the rear speakers.
Is there any routing scheme that works better than any other ?
Is removing the seats and carpet worth the hassle ?
yes. Remove the seats and the passengers side sill.
run the wires down the passengers side of the floor, snugged up against the sill. This will keep them far away from automotive electrical.
If you are doing amps, there is a channel on the drivers side sill that will hide the big power wires. It's part of the factory harness that runs to the rear.
I always run RCA cables down the center tunnel. Keeps everything nice and separate.

Um Bogus, both my 89 and 90 have the body harness and wiring going down the Pass side of the car along the sill
on the driverside all there is, is the wire for the E-Brake Light
