Default Anyone using rubberized undercoating for sound deadening?

So... by the time I'm done, my car will have 50 square feet of edead (not very good stuf) 2 gallons of edead liquid, and 60 square feet of Raamat. (awesome stuff) Plus about 8 yards of Ensolite.

I dont want to have to take this thing apart AGAIN, so I'm spraying the back of all interior trim bits with rubberized undercoating.

IT's very very thin, so I have my doubts to its effectiveness... But anything in the way of sound is good, right?

Anyone use this?

I think ill try to get as many coats as i can in each wheel well too.

maybe ill even use it as an undercoat.

There were several posts on sound deadening procedures and materials in April or May. I believe Choreo did one that was very thorough. Do a search, and I'm sure you will get some good info. There were some comparisons of different materials too. Believe it or not, Frost King self stick foam padding from Lowe's was found to be light weight, cheap, and fairly effective. Also, the storage areas in the rear of the car were found to be sources of noise resonance. If you sound proof them, it makes a big difference according to these posts.

Ensolite kills more sound than frost king, and is cheaper too I know my sound deadening materials, in fact I might have been the originator of one of the posts you are talking about.

I havent played with RU, so I was curious if anyone else had used it.

i backed all of my interior pieces with the 3M rubberized undercoating. Made a pretty good difference as far as rattles go but didnt really do anything for quieting it down.
