Has anyone experimented with making there own fiberglass enclosure?

there are a few floating around here. Check the "what do you run in your system" thread

off the top of my head, GB vette has one of the coolest enclosures/ampracks i've ever seen

Kale is a fiberglass-a-holic

and a few others whose SN's i can't remember (flame suit on)

quite a few have... I stick with wood, its easier for me but not a nice looking at fiberglass of course One of these days ill get adventurous and learn fiberglassing

it is a lot of work. but you can get pretty creative with it to get that unique look.

Very time consuming. Anything you want to know in particular?

oh yeah and, a cheap mask won't help you. You need a full on chemical respirator if you plan on working with this stuff.

That was a test fit, which is why the wires were everywhere. This is currently under construction, i will clean up the wires after i get everything mounted in, no use doing it before.

Weird.... Mine never stinks once its dry... after a few hours even. Are you sure you're using enough hardener?
