02 Z06 CD changer cable?
I recently purchased a 02 Z06, it currently has the CD player in the head unit but no changer in the trunk. I know or I thought that on most of the C5's they had the Cd changer prewired even without the Cd changer option being installed? I went poking around in the trunk and saw no such wire. If it were there where exactly would I find it. I just want to install an IPOD adapter so I can have a better tune selection while I decide how I want to design the system. Trying to avoind stripping any audio stuff from either of the C4's and just go from scratch on this one. But I need something in the meantime.

In my vert the cable was wrapped with the other cables coming across the back of the trunk wall. It split out below the trunk latch and dropped down to the center compartment. It was well taped in so I didn't even think about trying to remove the cable when I took out the changer. I just taped it up out of the way.
Addint th iPOD adapter to the back of the head shouldn't be too difficult. Much easier than trying to relocate a cable from th C4 (even if it would work).
