The second one looks like the same kit I bought at Best buy for my work truck. I will take a look when I get home.

The only other two major kit companies I know of are American International and Scosche. I've never seen that kit.

it looks like a metra kit with a protruding mount with trimmed sides.

yes its a metra kit and they also make one with a slot under the reciever if you want to store a cd case, etc.

If you are looking for a HU mount for a C5, I would highly reccomend one VrumVrum's kits. They look 10,000% better than any of the standard kits out there. They cost more, but it is well worth it, IMHO.

Here are a few of the HUMOUNTS.COM kits:









Hope people do not mind me posting their pics...only one of these is of my previous car.

IMHO, none of the aftermarket kits compare to these. The design allows for a more flush finish and the blank area is filled with a high end aluminimum plate rather than obviosly cheap plastic. Short of customizing your bezel, this is the only way to go, in my opinion.

I believe three of those are made by VrumVrum..thanks for correcting me on the fact that VrumVrum does not run humount.com. He is at the URL below:

the one with the slot looks like an AI kit.... similar to this one, i'm not sure of the part number.
