Strange AVIC-D3 problem with ver70 maps
I upgraded my Avic-D3 with an ebay version 70 dvd and now I do not get any voice prompts during trip mode? I used the same dvds to upgrade my other avic N1, and it works fine. Does anyone have a real 70 dvd I can try in the DFW area, so I can rule out a bad dvd? When I go back to the previous version, it works. PM me if you can help, or if you want to try my version 70 dvd.

Pioneer does not list the AVIC D3 as a unit that uses the CNDV-70MTP update discs. In fact, the AVIC D3 doesn't have update discs out yet since it just came out this year.
According to Pioneer the CNDV-70MTP update disks are for use in the:
AVIC N1, AVIC N2, AVIC N3, AVIC D1, AVIC D2, AVIC 88DVD, AVIC 80DVD, AVIC 90DVD, and AVIC 9DVD when used with Pioneer Touch Panel Display only.
