I'm working on my install now and had a quick question. I'm going totally aftermarket so I'm not using the Bose amp. Is it ok to remove the amp? If so, do I need to do anything with the plugs? Also, the Bose amp is the big square black box beside the fuse panel in the passenger footwell, correct?

I believe the amp is part of the speaker assembly in each door

Yes, that is the Bose amp, and yes you can remove it... I used the space for my Bluetooth and some other small items...
I just put some plastic around them and taped it...
